Pavitt Garden Design is a well established, friendly, local, down to earth garden design company. Our mission is to create gardens that make people happy.
We offer a 360 degree service from design through to build and planting. We will be on hand throughout the whole process to ensure that you achieve the garden of your dreams. It can change your life!
Over the last decade we have transformed many gardens big or small; working with the best landscapers and other trades. We make the whole process smooth and easy from materials choice, outside electrics, outdoor rooms to final planting.
Led by RHS Level 3 trained Horticulturalist Hilary Pavitt, who trained and completed a six- year stint in horticulture and garden design at Plumpton College and spent several years on the professional volunteer training scheme at gardener’s paradise Nymans. She is a gold medal winner at the South of England Show 2019 and winner of the competition to design a memorial garden at Chailey Heritage School, but importantly she’s passionate about plants.

Design consultation
We believe that the devil’s in the detail - The initial visit is always a paid consultation, £95, which generally lasts about an hour. During which time we’ll be able to explore many ideas. See what’s in the garden , what’s worth keeping , suggestions can be made etc., this is them followed by written report covering everything we have discussed
Survey and discussion
We’ll survey the site (this includes charting size, existing structures, sun patterns and influences and soil analysis) and discuss initial seeds of ideas, which can include themes, creative and practical options, likes and dislikes.
Design process
A detailed drawing, illustrated by hand, to give you a real sense of what you’ll get for your budget. The design package includes the survey, soil analysis, design drawing and modifications, all informed by meaningful discussions with you.
